I'd recommend Michael to anyone in mixing. From someone who feels disorganized to those who, like me, had their shit together. Both will leave far more equipped.
Closed 2 album deals in 2 days since starting the coaching program. LFG.
This week I had several really good calls and realized that what I do is genuinely appreciated. Just got confirmation for an album mix: over 10k in revenue.
My indie mix rate went from €670 to €860, and my established-act rate from €875 to €1,000.
My rates went from $250 a mix to $450–800. My monthly income went from $500 to $1,200.
I just had my best ever quarter financially, and my reaction is: with what I've learned, I can do so much better next quarter.
Before
- Inconsistent income, no safety buffer
- Undercharging and afraid to raise rates
- No outreach system. Waiting for the phone to ring
- Business "organized" in their head, nothing written down
After
- $3k–$10k months with financial stability
- Clear positioning and confidence in rates
- 200+ conversations, outreach as a daily habit
- CRM, structured pipeline, and systems they trust
I always had this scarcity fear that if I didn't say yes to everything, the phone would never ring again. Now I have the confidence to be more selective.
I feel a relief of anxieties that I did not realise I had before. It frees up my mental energy to save it for the mixes themselves.
Learning the difference between operating as a technician versus an owner completely rewired how I think about my career.
I went in thinking I needed more motivation or better habits. What I actually needed was structure.
What surprised me most was that I was the one holding myself back. Imposter syndrome has practically gone away.
What I didn't expect, and what I'm incredibly grateful for, was how much mindset work was involved. This turned out to be the most impactful part.
Some moments felt uncomfortable at first, but they ultimately reignited a part of me I hadn't tapped into in a long time.
The line between personal and business growth began to blur as we aligned on a set of values both should be built upon.
One of the biggest transformations was learning to step back and trust my systems. I stay calmer and more focused now, even when things get hectic.
Systems & Structure
Less chaos, more creative energy
The CRM completely changed how I manage relationships. Before, I was hesitant to follow up. Now I have a structured approach that feels authentic.
I have clear rules instead of having to rethink everything from scratch. Rates, revision policy, how to handle a late project. The decisions are already made.
I have ADHD and I've always used that as a quiet excuse for the chaos in my workflow. This coaching gave me a realistic framework to actually work with how my brain operates.
I now have clearer, more structured processes for the business side, which allows me to be much more free and creative during my creative work.
The biggest help was getting the organization out of my head and into an actual system.
Things that used to feel like headaches to manage, my client list, the projects I'm juggling, communications, are much easier now with the systems Michael helped me put in place.
I've never felt more creative than I do now. I'm getting all of the buzzing in my head out of the way before I start my day. I have structure.
Networking & Brand
From invisible to in-demand
I started thinking about networking differently. It's not about pitching myself but about building real relationships. That shift has made reaching out to A&Rs and labels feel much more natural.
One of the biggest shifts was becoming comfortable with the idea of being a forward-facing business, owning that role and feeling empowered by it.
Outreach was the holy shit moment. New clients referred me to their peers — a snowball effect I never expected to happen so quickly.
Michael helped me translate internal clarity into a stronger public presence.
Michael flipped my viewpoint on social media and showed me the healthy ways it could be used to connect deeper with humans.
You won't feel like you're in the passenger seat anymore hoping that people will reach out. You will become proactive in your business.
It doesn't stay in the studio
Partners notice. Families feel it. This matters to me more than anything.
He navigates running his work with clarity and strong organization that feels like it's elevated his business overall.
He is less anxiously attached to his mix desk and is willing to step away from work to be present with me and our two year old son. The work he put in with you has shifted the dynamic of our family for the better.
The biggest difference I've noticed is his motivation and outlook on the future. His biggest takeaway is knowing his worth, where he can take this and how to do it.
He's been much more driven and confident about his business and abilities. Being able to see things come into fruition excites him and it pours into his role as a father and husband.
Rather than spinning his wheels unsure of where to put his energy, he has clarity in his priorities at any point during the week.
Professionally, he's been provided so many new tools to do this more efficiently and effectively.
Jonathan has stepped into his voice as an engineer & business. There's a real sense of confidence and ownership in his creative choices.
He's developed a workflow that supports both his efficiency and creativity, and it shows in the consistency of his work.

I've watched people build careers they couldn't have dreamed of. Not because of a trick. Because they committed, got honest about what wasn't working, and did the work.
